Sebastian Huempfer

Dr Sebastian Huempfer teaches political science at Dauphine London. His research expertise is in international trade, political economy, economic history and the politics of free speech.

He has previously taught at Oxford University, where he also obtained his doctorate in economic and social history, and was a visiting assistant in research at Yale University’s Institution for Social and Policy Studies.

His research on the history of US trade policy has won Oxford University's Feinstein Prize and he was the editor of Free Speech Debate, an Oxford University research project, from 2014 until 2016.
