Jean-François Le Gal’s practice focuses on international arbitration, as well as multi-jurisdictional proceedings - frequently with a link to the Middle East & North Africa Region. He is qualified as an Avocat au Barreau de Paris, a Solicitor-Advocate with full rights of audience before the Higher Courts of England & Wales (Civil Proceedings), and a Registered Legal Practitioner with full rights of audience at the Dubai International Financial Centre Courts (DIFC Courts) (Dubai).
Jean-François has experience of arbitrating international disputes as counsel/advocate in English and/or French in London, Paris, Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
He is registered on the List of Arbitrators of ICC France, on the LCIA’s Database of Neutrals, and on the List of Arbitrators of the Abu Dhabi Commercial Conciliation & Arbitration Center (ADCCAC). He has acted as arbitrator (as Sole Arbitrator and as Chairman of an Arbitral Tribunal).
He is fluent in English and French, and has a good working knowledge of Spanish.
